Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

1. Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how eComPRO collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website, dashboard, and services. It also explains the difference between data about merchants and data about merchants' own customers.

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Our role: controller and processor

For data about merchants and visitors to our own website (such as your account and billing details), eComPRO is the data controller.

For the personal data of your customers that you collect through your store (such as their name, phone number, and delivery address on an order), you are the data controller and eComPRO acts as a data processor, handling that data on your behalf and on your instructions to provide the Service.

3. Information we collect

We collect:

  • Account data: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and business details.
  • Store and usage data: your stores, products, settings, and how you use the dashboard.
  • Billing data: subscription and payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Customer order data (on your behalf): the name, phone, address, and order details your customers enter at checkout.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, log data, and cookies.

4. How we use information

We use personal data to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • process billing and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • secure our systems and protect users;
  • provide support and respond to requests;
  • improve and develop the Service;
  • send service-related communications;
  • comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal bases

Where data-protection law applies, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Service), your consent (for example for certain cookies or marketing), and compliance with legal obligations.

6. Sharing and sub-processors

We do not sell personal data. We share data only as needed to run the Service, including with:

  • payment processing (Stripe);
  • hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • email delivery providers;
  • shipping carriers you connect, to fulfil your orders;
  • analytics and security providers;
  • authorities, where required by law.

These providers act as our sub-processors or as independent controllers under their own policies.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your language, secure the Service, and understand usage. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for any period required to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You may ask us to delete your data, subject to those obligations.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and isolation between tenants. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to incidents.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.

11. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

If you are a customer of a merchant that uses eComPRO, please contact that merchant first, as they control your data; we will assist them as their processor. To exercise your rights with us, contact support@ecompro.shop.

12. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age required by local law. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us so we can remove it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and will update the “last updated” date above.

14. Contact and data requests

For privacy questions or to make a data request, contact us at support@ecompro.shop. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
